i tried donating my sperm and they just called me saying my count is to low. i guess i'll take this as a mixed blessing.

I heard some places or all sperm banks pay for donations?

the place i went to gave you 100 sign on bonus and then 200 when one of your donations sold. so you had to wait before you made much money.

one place i checked at was up to *900* a month. that was with twice a week donations though...
i wish they had accepted me!

That your count is too low to their standards does not mean you cannot get a girl pregnant, far from it. Most men probably have a "too low" count to their standards.

Wow, I used to make 200 a month on plasma donations (before I got banned for life for getting a false positive for syphilis due to their shitty tests), if a person could due that and sperm donations, they could live relatively OK on just their body fluids.

personally, i wouldnt donate sperm.
when i was 19 i found out that the "dad" i had always known wasnt really my real dad.
my real dad was a med student in NYC when he donated the goods.
after i found this out i decided that id rather not donate sperm and have kids i dont even know about.
it just feels weird to not even know about HALF of your genes.

I've recently been thinking about donating sperm at a local sperm bank. Pretty easy, quick money, and it helps out people who are less fortunate in the area of fertility.
Has anyone done it before? Any advice/recommendations? I know you have to take a blood test and a urine sample, and I've recently quit the herb (only for a bit though ). Any info that would help me in the process of deciding whether or not to do it would be great.
