Domestication of Copelandia Cyans questions
    #816479 - 08/13/02 11:35 PM (21 years, 9 months ago)

I have a few questions regarding the domestication of Copelandia Cyanescens from wild prints.
Because of the fact that cope mycelia tends to be tomentose or linear and not rhizomorphic ive been isolating and cultivating the faster isolates - but these have tended to fruit poorly.
I have just cultivated and have a first flush of fruits from one of the much slower isolates and the flush was much more profound and of better quality fruits.
What does one look for with copelandia mycelia - im confused as psilocybes definately dont act like this!!

The simplest method: multispore.

So you suggest just taking the biggest fruits and always taking these prints?

Anyone ever tried oatmeal for a pan substrate?..Straw is a pain to chop up to 1 inch size..tried a hedge trimmer that sucks..basically just sit with some scissors....

Anno do you still sell prints? I seen a post of your various strains of pans from around the world...I'd be interested if you still sell prints....

Well, yes basicaly.
Off course you can clone a good lookoing fruit too if you want.
But to obtain a nice fruiting culture I suggest to skip the first agar isolation process.
