has anyone ever heard of qinggong (ching-kung)? or "light body developement"? type of qigong (chi-kung) for making the body lighter - for martial arts. this is behind all the stories and stuff in the movies of people jumping really long distances. i've never met anyone that practices any qing-gong, but i've practiced push-hands with some serious tai chi guys who could make a light touch on my arm REALLY heavy...

Qigong... I practice it. It is a self-healing art that combines movement and meditation. Qi (pronounced CHI) means Energy, or life force... Gong means skill so Qigong basically means The skill of attracting vital energy. Qigong is a form of martial arts in and of itself but many martial arts use elements of qigong in their techniques.

Again that is basic physics, not a miracle. It has to do with surface tension. If he walked, he would sink. If there was no paper (I thought it was a reed mat), he would sink.
