h2o2 helps prevent "some" contams but harms mycelium, id imagine it would be the same as misting with h2o2 water

You can use a fog machine but like agar said it'd waterlog your shit if you don't have enough FAE to evaporate all that moister off. It sounds cool because the water comes out of it already sterilized

yah ive been noticing waterlog recently, im hoping its just from 2 high humidity, you really have to have a cycle timer for these <--may depend on setup however

It greatly depends on the specifications haha trying to sound all scientific. It matters on how big your terrarium/greenhouse/fruiting chamber is. Then again the fog machine takes time for it to heat up. Once it's plugged in its heated the entire time? I wouldn't go more then 1 min on every 5 min or something in that range. It shoots a bunch of steam at it. Which is similar to misting. Once it's plugged in though does it stay heated?

Does it keep heated or do you have to press a button to keep it heated Or once it's plugged in it's already heated?

i use one of these-this
i just plug it in and it starts shootin mist and a little stream of water out right away, then i have it floating in a bucket on a boey, and ontop the bucket i have a hole, and ontop of that i have a homemade box made out of plastic syrofoam and ducktape, with a PC fan offset so no water hits it
pretty much exactly like agars setup but with a 5 gallon bucket and computer fan instead, mine sits outside the FC, and the steam is cool that comes out, so i don't think overheating is a problem

I know most of you have probably seen this already, but It still proves to be pretty damn flawless for my applications.
https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/7281980#7281980 You'll probably only be interested in the humidifier part. I adapted it from Agar's idea that was posted earlier.
Thanks agar!

As someone that works in show-biz, this makes me wonder if the MSR smoke machine we use in the theater gets too warm for spores... This thead has inspired the idea of using the smoke machine with sporulated oil. Hmmm, a thousand people 'inoculated' with spores and continuing on to disperse them throughout their surroundings.
