Standard light bulbs, are they bad? Directly in view of FC?

Originally, I had a lamp, one of those cone-shaped ones. But it was pointing up, close to the ceiling, so there's no way you could see the bulb directly.
But the pins were going a little bit too much sideways, and not up enough.
So if I move the bulb close to the shrooms, like 2 - 3 feet away from the top of the FC, would this be bad/too much light? The cone and light bulb facing down, towards the top of the FC? Don't worry about heat, got that under control, I won't go past 79, but I mean for light, is this good or bad?
I have no other options right now and they have already started pinning, so...

first of all, are you using cakes? if so, they tend to push mushies off in all different directions since light is hitting all sides of the cake at once. if you want "pretty" growth switch to something where only one side is exposed to light, like a tray with a casing.
correct me if i'm wrong, but light is a pinning trigger and may not be necessary for growing after pinning. mushrooms are not plants and lights are not as critical for their growth. most members recommend a cool "daylight" or blue spectrum for pinning initiation.
if it doesn't affect the temperature, i think you'll be fine. the light may not even make a difference now that they've started pinning.
more experienced growers: do you think effects growth after the initial pinning is started?

They need light all the way through harvest. I'd suggest a higher frequency light such as natural daylight fluorescent. I keep my light within 1 foot of the fruiting chamber. Bright, high frequency light works best. RR
