First Grow and First Flush

So I thought I would share my first grow with the forum that undoubtedly guided me through this whole wacky adventure, and yes, I may not be all that active, but the search button does wonders and I really didnt want to be another "Wutz! y isnt my syringe growing mushrooms?"
Anyway, these are Cambodians, I cant quite remember when I inoculated, maybe a month ago? I discovered later that these puppies really love heat when incubating so for those interested in Cambodians, keep that in mind!
This first pic is just one of the cakes I had growing (out of 10) in the FC; it was taken early. I thought it was pinning well, but had nothing to really compare it to.

This is it a couple days later.

And heres another one.. sort of mutated. Probably shouldnt have used that BRF from Chernobyl.

I did end up picking some of the cakes but not all of them. Im actually a little unsure what to do now? Just dunk again or syringe in some water? From what I did pick, I had around 120g wet. I though they would grow a little larger but this is my first time so I'm not expecting too much. Love to hear from ya'!

You dont see many cakes that turn out that good, and those are very good. I think its time for you to move on to casing.

Nice!
It's amazing how first grows often show results, that ain't easy to achieve, even after years of experience. Almost seems like a welcome present from nature

I did three with straws, only because earlier that week I had McDonald's and I had some spare straws laying around. In comparison to the other cakes--they were syringed--the results were inconclusive; it seems each cake has a mind of it own. Out of my best five, only one had a straw. I probably won't try it again and just stick to the syringe.
