Why am I getting poor subsequent flushes?

What can I do to improve my flushes? Here is WBS to mycopath's 50/50 poo/straw mix. I let the tray fully colonize, begin pinning in the FC, then case with MGCC adjusted to a pH of 7. The FC is a martha with a coolmist inside that keeps humidity up fine and an air mattress inflator that comes on once an hour for FAE.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, you must have missed the dunk.
Poor water into the casing from the side, carful not to oversaturate your casing layer, let it soak for 20 hours. gently hold the bulk and drain out the water.

I was under the impression that dunking required a constant stream of water like the tray under a faucet to prevent bacterial growth? Can you really just pour water in the tray and let it soak? what about the casing layer?

im pretty sure i remembered RR recommending leaving it under a faucet with running water. How big is it? i sometimes but my subs into a huge freezer bag fill it with water and let it sit for a day or two.
edit: remembered Roger Rabbit recommending, say that 3 times fast

yes pour cold water into the tray, cover and sit somewhere cool for 12-24hrs. Then carefully drain all excess liquid and refruit.

This is another method of dunking. In moving water, bacteria can't really build up. This method also takes far less time i believe.
I THINK you only need to dunk 3-5 hours under flowing water (flowing being a very light flow).
If you do the soak, you'll need to do it at least 12hrs. I'd throw in a little H2O2 as well. Maybe 5% or so.

It is they, the sacred mushrooms, that speak in a way I can understand. I ask them and they answer me. I can't believe, that dunking casings or cakes under running water is even considered...
This is a personal thing, but I just couldn't stand the fact that I'm wasting an ASS LOAD of water for something which can be easily achieved with one to few liters of water and a fridge.
Seriously, I never EVER had any problems with contams that were related to a dunk!
In my opinion it's completely unnecessary to let it sit under running water!

i remember reading in monstermitch's post about his penis envy monotub. he lets the water trickle into the monotub for 4 hours and he said it doesn't use more than a regular shower does. so it'd be like taking two showers one day every week or so. not too much water, i'd say.
