No. A desiccant is used for drying. What you're looking for is a humidifier, and yes, you need one immediately.

If you are drying the shrooms then no. If you're growing the shrooms then no.

dude mist the walls and make a bubbler. mist both daily 2 or 3 times a day, and dont forget to fan.

all it is:

a container with wet perlite and a fish air stone in it.
