I was just wondering if I could make a good compost just using straw and poo.I picked up a truck load yesterday from a race track, and put it in my compost bin,and wet it down.Could I leave it at that and still have a good compost or should I add anything?I know it would be better I just dont have the money now.

And there it is where God lives, where the dead live, the spirits and the saints, a world where everything has already happened and everything is known. That world talks. It has a language of its own. I report what it says. The sacred mushroom takes me by the hand and brings me to the world where everything is known. It is they, the sacred mushrooms, that speak in a way I can understand. I ask them and they answer me. When I return from the trip that I have taken with them, I tell what they have told me and what they have shown me."

Thanx for the replys.I got a good list of ingredients, its called making compost the easy way,or something like that.I found it here, and epsome carries most of what I need, but I dont have the money right now,so as long as itll work ill just use the base ingredients.Do you think itll take longer than 30 days to compost without the supplements? Its abot 3 ft.high and about 3 1/2 ft wide by 3 1/2 deep.
