As long as the jars have moist substrate in them, your good to go. Its hard to regulate humidity in the jar because of the lid for the most part is on good. Just keep them in a warm dark place. After they fully colonize and you birth them, then humidity is a big factor. You can use either or of the teo methods you mentioned as well as cool mist humidifers and perlite.bluhoney

Yeah.. also remember to keep those jars away from direct "dry heat". By this I
mean heating pads and such. If you must use a heat pad, make sure there is some buffer space between the actual pad and your jars. If you're not careful the jars could lose some much needed moisture which will cause problems down the road. peace.
