K, well I figure it'd be best that I start adding gypsum to my jars...
I went to the hardware store to pick up Sheetrock, I read the package it says that after adding water that it hardens....
What exactly am I looking for? any specific names/brands that I can look for?
thanks in advance.

what you were looking at was 'mud', it's for finishing drywall/sheetrock
ask them if they have a few small broken pieces of wall board

No, No, no. Go to your local nursery(garden store), or agriculture store(farmers store) and get "horticultural" or "garden" gypsum. It's about $3 for 5lbs. And it is clean of any shit some contractor would want to throw in it. Wal Mart, KMart, Target, and bigger grocery stores will start carrying it soon, as they move in the spring merchandise.

It took me forever to find Gypsum in my area. I finally found a nursery that sells 20lb bags for $10 so i'm very happy with that.
However, from what I've heard, the wall board gypsum is the same exact stuff as the garden gypsum in terms of what we are using it for. I believe I remember RR even saying something similar. I don't think you HAVE to use horticultural gypsum like one of the previous posters stated.
