What's 4/20 supposed to mean??
Anyway, if I were you I wouldn't do a 22 cake casing, since the chances of contams increase with every cake you add. Would be real pity, if you lose all your cakes at once. Do more like 10 small casings on your definitely on the more safe site!
Before I forget, let your cakes sit a week after full colonization. Often cakes are fully colonized on the outside but ain't on the inside and as you might know, unfinished myc is way more vulnerable for contams!
Good luck, what ever you do!

Think I can make it?
possibly...
but you never know.
Which tek are you following? what was your BRF/Verm/Water ratio?
Did you pack your substrate down into the jars? I hope not.
Are your jar holes covered? uncover them if they are.
Do you have the jars colonizing at room temp... or in an incubator?
They are colonizing a little slow... is why I'm asking!~
My PF jars only take 8 to 10 days to fully colonize... at 81 degrees F.

How long does it take from birthing to being able to pick my mushies from the casings?
too many varibles to determine this!~
I can tell you how long it takes me(usually)...
but it could take you 3 times as long!~
and 4/20 is my birthday!~

If you end up short on time it may be better to birth the cakes rather than case them. That will save you a few days and it is generally considered easier to succeed with cakes than with casings on your first grow.
With that said, once the jars are fully colonized and you case them it will typically take 3 days before they go in your fruiting chamber, then up to a week for pins and about 4 days until they are full grown. So it takes about 14 days to get wet full grown shrooms once they are colonized. If the jars are fully colonized by 4/4 (giving an extra two days just in case) I think you'll be fine casing.

Casings (at least when you do it with coir) add water and nutrients the myc likes and increase the fruiting area. Therefore it's done.
I definitely get more fruits from casings, though it doesn't necessarily have to be that way. you can also achieve very good results with straight cakes!
I'd suggest that you just do five two cake casings and twelve cakes and see what you like better.
Concerning the temperature in your closet, there's no need to change it. Temps between 75 and 80 work fine for colonization!
Oh, and yes, you should get plenty of fruits from your grows. At least when everything tunrs out "normal".
Anyway, you'll see for yourself

i know that casing colonized cakes tend to fruit immediatly and better. without any chances of contams.

If this is your first grow and you want them by a deadline a month away you should just birth the cakes straight. I would probably get over 120 shrooms with that many cakes.

Danm Roadkill, how the hell do you get your jars done that quick? I'm assuming you use an LC.

Experience...probably.
by using proper substrate mixture... and colonization temp. with a multispore inoculation.
I can colonize jars faster with an LC... by a day or 2.
