LC Contaminated?

Made my first LC with 1.0 cc of cambodian about 48 hours ago. I see growth in it, but I'd say 25% of it is "stranded" together (looks like myc? i'm not really sure.). But most of it looks to be separate/particles. Is this likely contaminated? I used a semi-sterile (ok not very sterile) bathroom with no airflow, the jar had a tyvek lid and i flamed the syringe and everything.
As an aside, I also used a 2% honey solution for this, and after innoc'ing the jar, THEN read about how honey can have endospores. Well I steamed for 30 minutes, but that probably wouldn't have killed the endospores right? You guys think the endospores are what is causing my possible contamination?
I'll post a pic in another day or two. There's not that much to see now. I can see it when I swirl it around, otherwise it's just on the bottom of the jar.

I find it better to experiment with the lc you use until you get it right.
Try diff amounts of honey, water, cook times..
Do more than one jar, keep records of why each one failed, or succeeded.
Thats all I can advise, good luck.

I have access to an autoclave on my college campus (work in a lab). I might just take 12 jars in there one day, 4 LC and 8 WBS and just sterilize them

You don't want to overdue it on the honey though, it will carmelize.
I didn't get a good lc until I dropped to 10 minutes @ 15psi.
I thikn no two kitchens are alike, pro chefs even say that about cooking food. Just gotta try things until you succeed. I look for guidance all the time but mostly don't succeed until I try a few differant ways until one works for me, and try it again to see if it was luck.
Good luck.
