So my friend (it's actually my friend ) got busted for underage consumption of alcohol. He's probably gonna get 12 months probation and 24 hours of community service along with DUI classes and a fine. Plus he has to write some paper or some shit like that. So here are my questions.
1. If you get busted for a non weed related incident do they still test you for weed?
2. His lawyer says if he fully cooperates he will get non reporting probation. What is that? Does that mean he'll not get tested?
3. How easy is it to smoke on probation if you buy detox pills and shit like that?
Basically this all revolves around weed. I guess you should know also involved in the whole incident was my other friend driving who got busted for possesion. So the court will know weed was involved, it's just the friend in question has no official connection with marijuana in this case.
He's really down in the dumps right now, this could ruin his senior summer of high school so for his sake I hope some of you dudes out there can give some good news.

I got a DUI(sort of) and underage consumption and only got 3 months non-reporting probation. That means you meet with your PO after court, and then meet him one more time in 3 months. It's pie.
I also had to serve 3 days in jail OR pay to be trapped in a hotel for 4 days listening to anti-alcohol shite.

I don't know what state you are in but you should not get tested for unsupervised probation. Unsupervised probation means that if you do anything stupid and get in trouble during that period that you will have steeper consequences to face the next time around. Nothing to worry about just don't do anything asinine during that period. Supervised means you have to go see a probation officer usually once a month and answer some questions and go on your merry way. I don't think you will get tested unless you have a drug related charge. You should look up the laws for minors in your state.
