so its been a long and very slow process but its finally adding up. I do need some help though.
Ive read so many different things about dunking and spraying. Some dont even mention dunking. Some also say dunk after the first fruiting is over.
So if I dunk can you use facet water, how cold do you want them. Do you roll them after. If you do dunk do you still spray. When and how long do you do it for now on. Please help first time grow and want no troubles.

I assume you are using brf cakes (pf tek). Dunk them for 24 hours in the fridge and then roll in dry verm. Yes, you still need to mist daily (made the mistake of not misting myself before). Then dunk and roll again after each flush.

faucet water is fine.. i like to stick my cakes in the fridge, although 'cold shocking' isn't necessary.
dunk at least 12 hours for the first time and between flushes.
rolling is up to you, but a good idea.. wait for the verm to dry and stick to the cake and then spray it down really good.
good luck d00d

seriously, just follow the tek. this is insanely basic stuff.
put something under them in the fruiting chamber. use PERLITE not VERMICULITE in the bottom of the fruiting chamber. 4-5" should be all you need in the bottom. air exchange can be done by opening the fruiting chamber and fanning with the lid 3-4 times a day. just about any light will do. 12 on 12 off cycle seems to work well. if you don't have sunlight, try a CFL daylight bulb.

My cat puts his cakes on lids filled with wet verm in his FC. Fan 3-4 times per day for FAE. Mist daily. 12 on 12 off light (He does 8 on 16 off for convenience), use a flourecent bulb (like cool white).

As much verm as will stick on the cakes as possible. Dunk for 24 hours, putting them in the fridge is not really necessary. Your dunk water will probably be enough of a cold shock. Even if it isnt, it isnt necessary, just helpful. Also mist and fan (together, I never do just one) pretty much as often as you want.
I have found light to be pretty much irrelevant and I dont understand why people buy CFLs etc. If there is any light, even indirect, incandescent/natural/cfl/whatever, for a period of more than ~8 hours, you will be fine. But since its your first time I would just stick to the tek and try and get ~12 hours of indirect light.(non shaded window works)
