Have I ruined my pinning trigger?
    #8123457 - 03/09/08 02:04 PM (16 years, 10 months ago)

I have just read that incubation should be in the dark. The problem with that is the fact that I have no curtains and my apartment is very cold most of the time and my space heater for my snake is the only warm spot. After innoculating I have had my jars out in the open light. I inoculated a batch on March 5th and March 7th and just now covered them with a towel to block out the light. Is this long enough to mess things up? I see no germination/colinization yet.

Thanks.

I like free markets and all. Truly I do, at least in general, but there needs to be some kind of oversight in recognition of sustainability. Life works the same way, on a bunch of sustainable systems. Why not honor what made us what we are and take some lessons? Nature FTW!

No problem man. Everyone has questions when they start.
