Chlorinated Water - Quick question

Hi there, I have accidentally soaked my rye grain for 36 hours in chlorinated water. Water here is actually some of the best in the world and so It shouldn't be heavilly chlorinated (its been a while and I forgot) and so now I am concerned that my spores won't germinate.
I don't have anymore rye grain (and it was also a pain in the ass to obtain) so im quite concerned. I don't want to inncoluate untill somone gives me their opinion. I have now bought distilled water which I have washed (and am doing another soak) with the rye, and thats what I intend to PC with.
What does everyone think? Please reply asap, wanna get this show on the road

My question still stands but I wanted to add hxxp://www.newton.dep.anl.gov/askasci/gen06/gen06449.htm
states that for fish its okay to let the water stand overnight and the chlorine will have evaporated from a gallon of water. The scientists go on about equilibrium and such, but as an ex-chemist I know that there will be a half-life for the concenration of chlorine in the water. I just hope that 36 hours is long enough for it to have evaporated, and also that no chlorine has migrated into the grain kernels, since this would be obviously detrimental.
However, I am now washing/soaking the grain in distilled water, which on the first pass should have removed 50%, the second 17.5% more, then 9.8% I think, continuing on in that fashion till its impossible to remove trace amounts...
I also read an account of cubensis on BRF PF cake style which says that he has successfully grown mushrooms on cakes made with chlorinated water, which is encouraging.
Anyone with simmelar experiences please report.

chlorine evaporates, I've used some really horrible water for cultivation several years ago with no issues on germination, currently I'm lucky enough to have very pure spring water coming from my taps, in fact the water in my toilet may be more pure than your bottled water

I hope not, i've spared no expense on this grow, I'd hate to fuck it up now. New jars, new FC, new PC, heated propagator, heat mat for the FC is on its way, etc etc

still nothing to worry about, heat speeds the process of evaporation

In addition, the small amounts of chlorine in tap water are not toxic to fungi spores, only bacteria. RR
