Scotts 3 in 1 - SUBSTITUTES!
    #808568 - 08/10/02 08:14 AM (21 years, 7 months ago)

Hey,

I went to a shit load of stores and nobody had scotts 3 in 1, or anything from the "Scotts" company for that matter! I live in Canada so thats probably why...

What can be used just as effectivly? Can any store baught cow manure be used? Anyone from Canada know some good Scotts substitutes?

Thanks!!
Fd

look for a steer manure blend with compost and steer manure in it. It's store bought and works pretty good.

Last time I was at Lowes, I saw some 28 pound bags of 3n1for $3, and right next to it was a blue bag of some other brand of "organic compost" 40 pounds for $.96.

I don't know if it is any good.

Hitler, it sounds like you are talking about Northwoods.
Northwoods is what night_train was having success with before he switched to 3-in-1 when he could no longer find Northwoods at his local Lowe?s. I?m still not sure what my Lowe?s carries?I need to get over there this week.

Yeah, that's the one.

Hopefully they will continue making that after the 3n1 supply dries up.
