did you dunk and roll them?
if thats teh case then you should be fine.
if you didnt then i would assume that you need more humidity
*edit
not more humidity, rather the cake is dry and the mycellium is reaching out for more moisture

you can inject water if you really wanted to but, without a "reservoir" inside you take the chance of fucking them up. a better way would be to go to burger king and get some soda pop straws. cut the straws in half then carefully with a twisting motion borrow the straw into the top of the cake about 1 inch for pt cakes and 1/2 inch for half pt. than pull the straw out carefully and get rid of the verm mixture inside the straw. now put the straw back in the hole and snug it in. now with your rig inject water into the top of the straw so that the level of water is just above the cake. now wait a min and if none leaks out of the sides of the hole your good to go. finish filling the straw to the top and you go a well that hydrates your cake as needed.

check out the pf tek video, RR has it posted in 4 parts on youtube...pf tek is very newby friendly. Just search pf tek. And pics are almost vital when asking for help too so whenever you get the cam back post some. Also search the gallery for some pics of your strains pinning. Maybe you'll stumble across the help youre looking for. Good luck!

A good 30 minutes twice a day should do the trick if youre pump is the right size. I'm trying to get a straight answer on fanning the fc right now but it seems to be a mixed bag of answers. to be safe i'm gonna fan twice daily as well as running my pump cycles.

You'll be seeing pins soon . Is that a fan I see? FAE should be about 4-6 FAE exchanges PER HOUR while still maintaining 100% rH. The only way your going to keep contaminants at bay is to keep FAE constant. How many inches of well drained perlite do you have? I suggest watching RR's 'Let's Grow Mushrooms' on youtube part 1-4.

should keep the light above the cakes...
light is one of the triggers for pinning and you want it to shine across as mouch of the surface of the cake as possible... otherwise they will grow all crooked looking towards the light
