    #8116371 - 03/07/08 03:10 PM (16 years, 2 months ago)

i've never used windows XP, used to have 98 and i need some GD so could anyone point me in the direction of the temp file folder? i did a search and it says the folder is located in
c:
documents/settings
(username)
etc

but when i get to the Username file the next file in the series is not there. attempting to reveal hidden files does nothing. any help appreciated.

Open a folder (click on my computer) and goto tools, folder options, view tab - then select show hidden files and unselect hide system files.

I'd suggest you opt to show file extensions while you're at it.

i "think" their is still one folder that you can't see even if you do that.  You actually have to type the name of the folder in the box.  After clearing my browser there are still folders in it :frown:,  I think some of them are needed not sure thow
