I dont know how maany psilocybes are in your part of Canada, but in Quebec theres a shroom called Psilocybe Quebecensis,that specifically grows in Jacques Cartier river valley if thats any help.

Keep looking. It took me a year and a half going out every other day or so before I found my first liberty cap, and I identified them from a picture of Psilocybe pelliculosa, by mistake, although the latter is also psychoactive.

Be careful and do not attempt to consume any wild mushroom until you have had it identified by a trained mycologist or a good friend who knowns the shrooms.
