best way to download youtube / flash videos???

i know you can download flash videos from youtube with certain software
there are a few programs ive seen, however im not sure which is best

i tried one called Orbit and it seems not to work...
im trying to grab some fight vids off dailymotion

I have Fast Video Downloader addon (1.3.1.4) for firefox, downloads the FLV from youtube with a single click. Then i use super to convert to mp3 or whatever.
