Yummie, protein.Fruit fly larvae. If you dry your shrooms, the worms dried to. Why eat rotten shrooms with a lot of worms??? . No the worms won't hurt you. You didn't say what kind of shrooms and where were they growing. Mj

Last Spring, I found a batch of mushrooms growing on the lawn in my backyard--I don't know if they were psychoactive or not-- that were full of maggots! I was trying to identify them, and they were so fragile that the caps broke open, and that's when I saw all the maggots inside.

same sort of shit happened to me, i was picking some mushrooms and looked at the stems, and at first i thought my mind was playing tricks on me, because it looked like the stem fibers were moving around, i looked real close and hard, and i saw little white larvae all over that fucker. dropped it with disgust... yuuck.
