Yummie, protein.

Fruit fly larvae. If you dry your shrooms, the worms dried to.

Why eat rotten shrooms with a lot of worms???
.

No the worms won't hurt you.

You didn't say what kind of shrooms and where were they growing.

Mj

Last Spring, I found a batch of mushrooms growing on the lawn in my backyard--I don't know if they were psychoactive or not-- that were full of maggots! I was trying to identify them, and they were so fragile that the caps broke open, and that's when I saw all the maggots inside.

Yea, thats the problem with picking them outside like that, sometimes they are full of maggots, your best bet is to either grow your own, or boil them and make tea. That way you dont have to worry about eating worms, and when you boil them it will kill bacteria.
