Well I live in Toronto, and I've never heard or seen anything like them here. Closest source would be Vancouver, as far as I know. Let me know if you find out otherwise though! Easiest way is to just grow em. ; )

This belongs in the mushroom hunting forum, but I'll answer it anyways. Psilocybe cubensis does not grow wild in Ontario. I don't even think it grows wild in B.C. either.

Wrong, it grows just fine in BC summers.

I have taken my leftovers to a secluded place where I walk my dog around Hamilton,Ont.and much to my dismay that is having probs growing indoors they grew outside although pretty small they made some nice prints.Not enuf humidity here to let them grow properly.

Well dirtydog I would like to see a pic of that. I have never heard of cubensis ever appearing in BC, or anywhere in Canada. Tennesse in the U.S., is as far north as I've ever heard of P.cubensis appearing. I live In Georgia and its not even documented to occur here(but it does cause I've picked them :smile: But I seriously dout that cubensis grows in BC. The conditions just don't favour its growth. There are lots of other species of psilocybe and panaelous, but not ps. cubensis.

So to answer your question [ANiMAL], no, cubensis do not grow wild anywhere in Canada.
