Early man (food hunter gatherers) did eat mushrooms. After the ice age and the tundreas appeared, small game was scarce and hard.

The food hunter gatherers would follow the large migatory herds of mammels across the plains. How would these hunter gatherers know where to find the meat. Well They obviously followed the manure trails of the larger land mammels in order to make their daily cache.

In the manure were mushrooms. And being food hunter gatherers they most likely ate the shrooms, and most other drugs for that matter.

Remember it was only through trial and error that we eat all of our food and someone had to eat it first. Thiese same people eventually became shamans, wazirs, brujos, sabias, mystics, witch doctors, witches, alchemists and physcians amongst other professions.

Both Terence McKenna and I have formulated this theory for over twenty years and we both wrote about it before you heard this man on the squawk box.

It had nothing to do with hunters visions.
