when she can get away with it she wears a collar. And a leash. And she says he ties her up and restrains her. But I haven't personally seen the last thing. I've seen the actual restraints, but not her tied up. Like with the leash and collar he just tied her to the couch so she couldn't get to the kitchen to eat. (she used to weigh almost 400lbs but her mom paid for that gastric band surgery, so she's lost a lot weight, but she's had the band for so long she's learning how to eat around it and gain the weight back) I mean, she COULD have undone the collar if say, the house caught on fire and she had to run out, but he could tell if she undid it and she would get punished if she did. It was weird too. I stopped by to watch a movie or something and she was just chillin on the couch, wearing a collar, which by this point didn't phase me... then she was like "hey, will you go get a pack of cookies out of the cabinet, and if master asks, you ate them..." and I was like "what? why?" and she showed me the leash tied to the leg of their heavy-ass iron coffee table thing.

she teaches 5th grade, btw.

anyway, the practice itself is controversial... the ideal of it, the way the men treat the women... but you said the majority of women living the Gorean lifestyle WANT to be slaves... so it's not really that controversial. Like, people shouldn't stop them from living that way if all parties involved are consenting adults.

The only time I think people should stop the sexual lives of others are if 1) children are abused 2) animals are abused or 3) true rape and/or murder happens. and by rape I mean one party truly does not want this to happen to them. Like some women fantasize about getting raped... I'm sure it happens in the Gorean lifestyle, but those women want to happen... or at least they know it comes with that lifestyle and accept it.

..or if they teach elemtary school children.

I mean, the way those teachers act is going to rub off on the poor kids. That's too young to have a weirdo like that hanging around. Not that I have a problem with people who do this stuff per se, but come now.
