my friend has a walk in closet thats 11' 8" wide and 40" deep with a 3' opening thats centered. that gives us 2 enclosures of 40" deep by 52" wide by 9' tall. each enclosure houses five tiers of growing area. each tier is taken up by (2) 2' x 3' trays. so that means there will only be 2" gap around each tier of trays within each enclosure. (i hope this makes sense so far). I was going to rig up an ultrasonic and cool mist that would enter through the top of each enclosure. one area of concern is will the 2" gap around each tier be enough room to allow the humidity to fall to the lower tiers, or should i hook up tubing that enters at each level/tier. the whole enclosure will be lined with clear heavy plastic, with some 4" circles of tyvek randomely placed for gas exchange. indirect light will be supplied 12 hrs. per day. my main concern is how to rig the humidifiers and how to provide the best air exchange. any good suggestions appreciated. thanx

Youre pumping <90% humidity into a bedroom closet?
You painting with some type of high humidity paint or someshit?
Or will the humidity be pumped into self contained tubs?

For High Humidty, Use perlite in your terrarium. I moistened my perlite 9 days ago and my hygrometer (humidty guage) hasn't dropped from 100% yet.
I dedicated an entire room of my house to a grow area and it has close to lab-like cleansliness, so I just drill holes in my Terarriums which helps a lot with gas exchange and the clean area helps prevent contams. I still fan for FAE once a day.
I'm not sure how i'd do it if I was growing in a closet... Why are you doing it in a closet anyhow if you don't mind my asking?
Cheers

each enclosure is self contained with 6 mil plastic sheeting. the painted walls will never see/feel the moisture

for FAE point a small fan towards the closet thats near an open window and run it every so often... many will say that lets in too many contaminates, but ive been doing it for a long time without problems so you should be fine.

I have a large room built 6ft x 6ft and 18in deep and I can tell you it took a lot of work to get my RH to 95% and the heat right. I its not that easy and had known I would not have built it at all. Now with that out of the way let me say, I love my FC!!!! It took $550.00 and a lot of work and I still have work to do but its good. Good luck
