fan blowing on mono's

so i used to keep a fan oscilating in my grow room all day for my mono's fae but that tended to dry the casing out.
so then i went to manually fanning and misting and that seems to work out well but i dont have the time to do this all the time.
then i bought a timer yesterday and set the fan for 1 hour on and 3 off and im just wondering if you guys think that will give my mono's adequete fae or not?
what would you guys suggest?

how about doing up one of these"click here", but instead of hooking up to green house run a hose to each mono tub you got going. im gonna do a 5 gallon bucket with out the blower hook to it and use my ultra to do the fresh air exchange

because its a monotub and their not supposed to be that in depth. their supposed to be simple. i just wanted to know what your guys were using for fan schedules and if you hand to do any manual misting or fanning.

correct me if im wrong but i dont think you need to fan or mist monotubs. If you are using the 2' holes with polyfill that should be enough.

yea alot of people have fans going in the room though all the time to keep the air circulating. like i said i tried that and it dries out my casing. if anybodys ran into that problem i was just wondering how they resolved it fan on fan off time wise. so i dont have to keep tinkering with this timer

Yes my friend, I've experienced the same thing. Not very extreme, but a fan blowing constantly at my monotubs did dry them out a bit (not dangerously dry, but noticeably). The sweet thing about the monotubs is that they do fine just sitting there, but they do better with an occasional mist/fan. Don't worry about the timer. Maybe before you go to bed and when you wake up give em a quick fan. I don't even mist the monos everyday anymore (except during pinning, I give lots of attention then). A lil neglect goes a long way!
