hrmm.... I highly doubt it is very accurate....
You should have tried out ebay... they have many accurate scales at decent prices! I got a scale that weighs out to the hundredths and it was only 60 $$$ I know it's accurate because I double checked it with my schools thousand dollar scales...
You should get a triple beam balance... those are awesome.... I am gonna get one soon!

Well, it would probably be better if it weighed in tenths-of-a-gram increments, but I'm sure it will work.

It will be accurate within +/- .5 grams. If you put a 1/2 gram on it it wil read 1 if you put a gram on it it will read 1 if you put 1 and 1/2 grams on it it will read 1 which isn't very good for mushies. Good for mailing. will keep you from freaking out. Thank you very much

I'd say that any scale for $20 isn't going to be well accurate.
I got my digital pocket scale downtown for a bargain $80 no tax, 1 year warranty, leather carrying case, and its a real nice one with a calculator at the side.
Peace..

I saw that, it measures .2 gram incriments I think... if I read it right. It didnt look very good though, I'm happy with my jewerely scale from oldwillknot (?). Maybe it was 1/2 gram increments....
Weigh a nickel, its 5 grams I think.

I got a scale that is precise to 50 ug, and accurate to +-50 ug. and guess what? i got it for free! It's an old mettler balance/scale that i found at a lab at MIT with a red 'deactivated' sticker on it. If you are in school then maybe you should check out some of the labs at your school, look for deactivated property; it means that the school no longer keeps track of it so people can give it away. In fact i've gotten hundreds of dollars in glassware and other lab equipment for free. Just ask some people you know who work in the field to look around for you =p

That's actually a very good scale for the price. Get it if you can.
