Help on pinning

My PF jars are 21 days into inoculation and the all 7 of my jars have been fully colonized for 4 days and still no pinning. oh yea im using the B+ stian. theres acualy mycelium growing on top of each other.temps have been 72-77 degers what should i do to initate pinning? i was told to use the double end casing that i read over on the PF.com page but says to use it after first flush. someone plesase help first batch gowing good till now. any help would be awsome

I'm having the same trouble. It has been like 1.5 mos. and I got no pins. Two jars colonized a wek weeks ahead of the others and I waited.... dunked/fridged them, Temps is 69 min 80 max. RH is atleast 84 but the cheapie RH meter has never gone higher and there is condensation on sides so I'm sure it is higher than that. The slower ones got 100% about 1 week ago, no pins. Some are in dunk/fridge now and one is crumbled in a flower pot. Foolishly I didn't mark the calander when I started so I'm not exactly sure how long it has been but I know I've been at this atleast six weeks. I thought I would have been able to give some friends/family presents by now.

If your cakes have only been fully colonized for 4 days, you need to give them atleast a week or 2 before trying to force them to fruit. Some cakes can take up too two weeks after birthing to start pinning. Give it a few more days. bluhoney
