so do they have to go in a PC?  if they do, how long?  im guessing leave the vermiculite out...  So basically just cook the pasta, stuff it in a jar tight, and after a lil pressure inject the spores and wait?  am i correct or missing information?

the spawn experiment was semi-successful.  the only problem is that i used composted cow manure from home depot which has proven to be a very poor substrate.  i should have searched for threads regarding the bagged manure.. if i had i would have found that people have tried it in the past with no success.

the myc is definitely growing and spreading from the pasta, but it is not attacking the manure with the vigor one would expect in a normal substrate.  when i have some time i may try again with something that should be more successful.

I was just thinking about trying some Multi-Grain Pastas.
I mean that shit will mold so fast if it's left to sit out so I thought why wouldn't an LC take over pasta?  And here you've answered the question!

Gotta love it!

hey that's pretty neat.  bras, bibles, bud, and now pasta.  What's next, roadkill?  ....not the person, actual roadkill ha!

not a bad pin set at all.
