Everyone has their own reasons!!!!
    #807877 - 08/09/02 08:50 PM (15 years, 4 months ago)

I have read so many posts where everyone is judging everyone else for their reasons to get high or trip or whatever. The truth of the matter is that everyone has their own reasons for getting ripped, and has different reasons at different times. Personally, I do use drugs for introspection and growth, but I would be lying if I said there weren't times when I just wanted to have a nutty ass weekend and be fucked up with my friends. So long as the person is being safe and not losing themselves to the drug then don't judge why someone else uses the things they do.

Honestly.......we all like the way it feels..........you can't tell me that you have done drugs every single time so you can meditate. Mostly, I do, but there are those times.............................................

An open mind is the greatest journey of all.

I'm in complete agreement.

I do think moderation is very important, though... It's okay to use the drug sometimes just because it feels good, but I think it is bad to become dependent on a drug and use it habitually. In fact, I call that abuse, not use.

Definately...moderation is one of the most important lessons in life, whether it's about drugs or not (we all have that fat-assed aunt Birtha so I know you know what I'm talking about here) The problem though is trying to figure out where that happy medium is. It's almost impossible to know if you're doing anything too much untill you've already gone too far with it (or at least that's been my experiance)
