Well I am ready to expand my garden again. You guys can all relate on how addicting this hobby can get

Any advice on how to get this going? From my understanding there are a few different plants/vines that make up the ayahuasca tea. Are there some that are just too difficult grow? Anyone that has expanded their garden into this area, I would love to hear from you.

Also, I guess I will need some sorta MAOI like Syrian Rue or something. Blast me with your knowledge...........thank you!!

well, where do you live (geographic region is close enough...)
dmt plants should present no problem from the tropics up into canada...
harmine plants, well... passionflower will grow where it snows, but you need like a pound of dried foliage for one dose... yuck...
check out www.ayahuasca.com for some info (tho' much of the site is down for repairs, the FAQ & the bb are up...)
or get books by j ott or k trout for what plants & how to grow... tho more research is always fun (check out j l hudson for many many seeds, some of entheogenic interest...)

Mimosa Hostilis is a good plant source for DMT and Syrian Rue seems to be the most widely available source for MAOIs.

You can find many suppliers online

collecting plants is indeed an addictive hobby. it seems you didn't read much on the subject but you need a maoi containing plant and a tryptamine containing plant. the amazonian classics are b. caapi and p. viridis and/or b. rusbyana... the vines are not found very often for sale (unless for consumption) and when they are found, they're very expensive. though p. viridis seeds should be cheap. the collector would also like to cultivate other related plants such as p. harmala, passiflora spp?, mimosa, anadenanthera, acacia, virola spp, etc...good luck... and keep us updated of any new plants...

I would recommend growing P. Viridis along with Mimosa Hostilis. Mimosa takes a couple years before you're able to harvest. You also might want to try growing some of the Acacia's. As for the MAOI, Syrian Rue(P. Harmala) or B. Caapi are the most commonly used. Ayahuasca.com has tons of info.
