Well I incoulated 5 jars with some gt spores I had and well lemme see......3 jars were vermerculite and whole wheat flour(wwf) 1 jar birdseed.I bought some sphagnum moss just to experiment with so I mixed some of it with brf and water..... it was quite messy and I was 100% I woudlnt get any results... so I shoved it in the jar and boiled it for an hour.Well It's been about week and that jar is 100% colonized the other jars did nothing or they are just alittle colonized.I'm very pleased with the results and I plan on doing all my cakes this way now I plan on birthing it in acouple days and I'll update with results.I would take pics but I left my cam in the boat

One reason it worked so fast was probally because the moss kept the mixture airy and loose letting the mycelia grow easier through it. Nice job, my friend will have to try that. bluhoney
