coir vs poo (pan cyan)

Okay so...
pan cyans like poo and straw...
I hear of people using coir instead of poo but I haven't heard of it being substituted with pan cyans...
can it be substituted with pan cyans or do pan cyans need poo to grow (I know people can use straight straw but not with good success)? can pan cyans be grown on straight coir?
what ratio of coir to straw should I use for pan cyans? (assuming the coir can substitute poo, usually I see 10% poo 90% straw in most grows.)
sorry if this has been covered I did a search of coir vs poo and I see that it is used as a substitute both high in nutes and good results when pasturized.

Pan. cyans(Copes) need poo to fruit. How much it needs as a minimum I don't know. Try adding small amounts of coir and get bigger decreasing the amount of poo and post your results.
But, yes, they do need poo.

You wouldn't happen to have a list of those nutes and their ppm's do you?

I don't think that is really what he meant to say "literaly speaking"-for Pan Cyans. He meant that it is as good as poo when it is to be used in conjunction with poo, but, not alone by itself as a poo substitute, because they(Pan Cyans), won't fruit on coir alone=they need Poo to fruit(enzymatic[?] ). He was speaking about dung lovers in general, but there are certain species that have to have it in order to fruit and Pan Cyans are one of those certain ones. RR knows his shit, and sometimes you can't really break it down and explain in full detail(so no one will get mislead, as this)in these threads because you are bouncing around doing alot of shit, so he makes a statement that covers everything in general, just to cover all the basics, and people still call him on it. I don't know maybe it's me-they say your mind goes first huh?
Use the search button and you should find a lot of info about Copes.

I do actually understand. I wasn't sure if pans needed something in the poo or they just responded well to the nutrients in which coir would be on par.
So sheeps poo?

hey flavoraid havent seen you around in a while. so it turns out that pans do need poo, i recently made 2 casings of colonized WBS 1 i mixed with poo the other i didnt, its been 3 weeks and i have a second flush from the poo cased one before it contaminated and the one without poo is just vegetating and im about to bury it in the yard. I dont think that coir will work as a replacement for poo

yar... I wonder if I can use sheep manure
I'll need to contact a horse stable or something to get horse poo and then I'd need to compost or leach it myself :S
sheep manure has been used for other grows... I haven't seen any for pan grows though :S
