ok, I take back everything I've ever said about you're crazy sentence structure for that pic alone

but yeah, I don't see a problem with this per se.  I'd prefer the cops not record the conversations, but thats just me.  I just would not like to see a day when these things are installed w/ sufficiently advanced technology to be able to record conversations and such even far away from the source... this would likely be legal in america, but I liken it to the IR photography of houses that was ruled illegal here, except it doesn't involve a house.  I think you have an expectation of privacy when your talking with someone- that someone won't be recording you from a hundred yards away.

but precrime allready exists in a way.

In america, if you agree to import drugs with someone, you're allready guilty of the conspiracy before you take any acts whatsoever, something normally required per common law civil conspiracy.  The cops can arrest you right then and get a conviction even if you have no immediate source of drugs.

... and even if you were lying to the person about importing drugs just to get out of the situation. That is the part that annoys me. If you are not under oath, then they should not be able to hold your statements as evidence of intent. People lie and in most cases it is not illegal.

Part of me thinks it's a good idea because this probably WILL prevent a lot of violence.

But it' a catch 22... because I'm irked that I've got a computer listening to my conversation

But then again... I'm in a public place so nothing I say is legally private.

the question is, do you trust the computer?

who is liable for mishaps?

what if this alarm were installed outside your home, and woke you up constantly?

honestly, there are bums outside who argue and fight all the time. i dont think its really necessary to have a computer calling the cops. if people wanna call the cops, that's fine. let people decide if it's worthy.

I always question what they will use the info for conversations, to fund large corporate projects that will enable corporations to market better to the public. I mean if they know what the public is asking for ahead of time, it would be much easier to profit, considering that they would be ahead of what people want.

another thing i question will be a problem with this is the secret service. I just dont understand how there can be a 'free' society with a secret service running around, unaccountable to anything.

Not to mention, they could use the information from conversations to make politics much more controlled, given that they would be more sure of what the public 'wants' from politicians. Although these politicians will just lie about doing what most of the public wants, because they are just promises.

Seems like a way to instill much more control over public influence.

The mind is a creative tool. It searches to protect you, through message sensations(feelings). It is no different than a computer, you need to make sure its anti-virus program is in check and that it doesnt have a script that limits your experience, because of to much precaution.

And remember the computer does not appear to respond to words of anger and frustration - just give it input, in the form of new meanings that you know to be true and its messages to you and the limits it lays out for you, will change.

Guilt is an outcome of believing you are the cause of the problems.

Yet, we are not a cause to something, we see is negative or bad - Unless you believe your intentions are directed towards a bad outcome....

OOPs I retract almost all that i was saying. Depending on the maginitude to which they will use them, in future situations. But as for now, nop. Seems relativly alrite.

So if you say "YAARRRGH U MAKE ME SO ANGRY!!!" They can arrest you? How does hold up in court? "The defendant was being rude so we arrested him"?
