Starting Off Outdoor Pile Style

Hey, I was reading around and looking up different ways to grow and cultivate shrooms. The most efficient for me to do is Outdoor Pile Style. I have read many articles and guides to growing shrooms but a lot of them are way too confusing or the poster is way too high . So I was wondering if you guys could help in simple mans terms on how to grow shrooms outdoor pile style. I was going to use a cow manure called Blak Cow that is already pasturized and someone else has used before. I read the thread about the guy who has done the same thing I am looking for but he is so high I can't really understand him lol. So some basic questions I am looking the answer to is... What are the supplies I need besides Blak Cow Manure? What soil is it best to do in? Can I do it this time of year in Florida? Why do I need to use bird seed? What is vermiculite? Do mushrooms grow better in shade or shine or a mix? How long does it take to grow? What are the steps do I need to do in order to grow cubensis?
Even if you offer advice or answer a one or a couple of questions you help me out a bunch and I sooo appreciate it.
Thanks.

What are the supplies I need besides Blak Cow Manure? Depends on what you already have, you should follow one of the many proven techniques listed in the site menu or do a search. If you are referring to you substrate specifically then I would suggest mixing the Black Kow with straw or coir.
What soil is it best to do in? Depends on exactly what you are attempting to do. Again, should probably refer to a proven technique on this one.
Can I do it this time of year in Florida? Yes.
Why do I need to use bird seed? Its used as a spawn to colonize the outdoor patch, this is probably the most critical step in the process, you will definitely need to research and learn about spawn and grain colonization
What is vermiculite? Geez, your questions just keep getting worse and worse.
Do mushrooms grow better in shade or shine or a mix? In Florida the shade will be your best bet.
How long does it take to grow? Anywhere from weeks to months to longer depending on the variables
What are the steps do I need to do in order to grow cubensis? Ahh, so its just about growing some cubes?
In that case why bother with an outdoor patch if you don't really care about bulk, just make some PF style cakes, it will be much easier for you. There are much easier ways to get cubes other than creating proper outdoor patches. But with whatever technique you go with you need to do a lot of research.
