looks like bridgesii to me...maybe not the clumping "penis plant" form, but I've got a few mutant bridgessi branches that look much the same as that...

I second that. Pretty cool cactus even if it's not active, though I read it contains lophocereine and pilocereine. I had no luck finding out what they might do.

Well , I was running down the street & I seen a cop turn the corner , so I had to dump it. When I went back it was broke in half. I recently had to dig up my entire garden due to relocation.

uhmm why did u have to run from the cops? its not like this cactus is illegal, or were you taking it from someone elses yard?

well if u kept it, cut off the ends that broke and callus them, the bottom hav could pup and the top half will root

nit a fan of mostrose forms myself, but many ppl like them

i said its not a bridgesii because of those pups going sideways, which doesnt seem bridgesiiesque to me

I would be willing to bet your cactus in question is a clone from this one:

Did you get it from a plant sale at an Arizona botanic garden or steal a cutting there?

EDIT:Even if it's not a clone from ^^^^motherplant; It's definitely some type of Lophocereus.
