Who's he talking about here?

Any UFO enthusiasts understand that the basic reality is a reality of all time and the only reason wacky stuff is starting to happen is because of our new found means of blowing up eachother...

The author doesnt take into consideration the descriptions of all the other EBEs, Roswell and other realted incidents, military/government/intelligence community whistleblowers, abductee reports, UFO sightings, advance technology/reverse-engineering, etc..

Abudance of life and advanced technology and evolution are all elementary parts of this cosmic dance.

Also this speculation about us evolving developing larger brains and developing larger eyes and shit... That was old school thinking.

If anything, in the future we might become sknnier but our basic biology is as far as it needs to go. The only evolutionary processes that need to ensue now are spiritual.

The authors does not even remotely touch base on anything substantial regarding the UFO phenomena. His focus is on the small grays, and how they were first being documented in the late 19 century, and somehow it is now logical to assume millions of people hallucinating because of it. Dammit! How I wish I could take a ride on Santa's Sleigh...

So I'm not sure if his speculation is that there are no aliens, or that only the grays were man-made fiction, or both.

IMO that was one of the weakest articles I've ever read... Clearly this author has not spent enough time researching this phenomena and has not given the least amount of prerequisite thought about it to even adress the important ideas.

I think the author was just trying to point out the fact that the first recorded mention of a "grey", was one found in a work of fiction.

I just have a hard time believing that "greys" exist considering that the first known mention of them is in a work of fiction.

How is it that no cultures/civilizations untouched by western civilization have one single recording of a ufo abduction? Everyone who has reported or written down their experience with them has come into contact with the story of the "greys" beforehand.

--

Ginseng, what is your evidence that they exist?

I want this to be a scholarly argument, this phenomena interests me a lot. :rasta:

if a species were advanced and evolved, what makes you think it would even have a brain to begin with?

when we look at other forms of life that may exist elsewhere, we still continue to think in the context of the life that is on this planet. we start thinking about creatures that have bodies, that can see, walk, etc, etc... Other planets are working with completely different circumstances and climates, their life-forms could exist in the form of a gas or elements that we are not even aware of yet.

appleorange, it's awesome to see that you are beginning to build interest in this subject.

All I can tell you is to research alot, and really think deep into it. Nobody here is going to be able to convince you of anything, it is a reality that you have to come to understand by yourself, while holding certain principles in place.

Principles regarding intelligence, life, the age of the universe, it's size, new-age physics, etc... Look at what you see here on earth (attitudes, beliefs, human behaviour, animals, sociology, advancement of technology, nature).

And then you have to use the gift that is your brain to expand your perspective (expand it to the size of the universe). You really have to use logic and think in ways you haven't before. Not from a perspective from Earth looking out, but from out looking in.

This is why you have to take into consideration the power of intelligence, the power of the universe, consciousness, etc...

Human intelligence cannot hold a candle to the intelligence that is up in the stars. Also, our perspective is not in a position to even declare how we even came to be on this planet.

You're on the right track. Now flip it around. What makes you think that life even originated on this planet?

I think it is more likely (considering the evidence for the ET presence, in conjuction with the fact that some aliens are humanoid) that conditions were manipulated for this planet so that life could thrive!

The same way we take an aquarium and create conditions suitable for pet fish. They don't just pop out of nowhere.

Think this is too far out? Think about, don't the worlds bibles talk about how we were "created in the fathers image"? Was this a time where there was alot of ET activity and some answers were given to us by friends from up above? Now most of the world has no clue what the whole story was about IMO. Was it a metaphor for how to live, or were they guideliens to show us how to mature into cosmic citizens while giving us a background on where we came from? I'm not saying God came down to earth and said "let there be light". I'm saying a higher intelligenet race of ETs play this game where they find planets and plant life, because is life is creation and it is beautiful! Humans plant life too, anyway...

The way it goes down is that the more you know, the more doors begin to open. So in turn, the less you know, compared to what the truth really is. But atleast this way, you knew hell of alot more than you did before in the "we are alone" bubble.

We are taking babysteps.

Why is it that we just recently got into space, and now austronauts are telling me that aliens are real? I mean, are humans really the singularity here, or has everything that we have gone through and what we plan on accomplishing through science, has already been accomplished by the universe (and it's other representations)?

Yesterday we were in the dark about everything. Scientists arguing with religions freaks about our origins. Neither of them can really prove shit.

And what about human records of what actualy went down in the past? Our recorded history is about the size of an atom, and the true history of all the universe is the size of the entire universe. And even on Earth, our recorded history aint shit. It's just *our* story, and it don't explain pretty much anything.

In the end I think it comes down to this:

We are children trying to find our home.

(I am not the greatest writer and don't take my word for anything. If it was my focus to convince anybody of anything I would actualy write a good paper and get it edited and all that shit. what I just wrote is mostly rambling... Just research yourself and use your consciousness and let it flow outwards.)

That paper was written by some lazy skeptic whose assumuptions were based on some work of fiction that he probably never even saw himself.  I would love to  see a copy of this comic book.

hmm... i've gotten through 1 hour of this and so far everything presented is eyewitness testimony and/or radar documentation of unidentifiable objects in the sky.

after I finish watching it and collect my thoughts, i'll post a more thorough reply.

I just finished watching it and am gonna hit the hay in a bit. But...

One guy said that he actually saw an alien get shot and that 50 some odd species of aliens existed. Some even looking completely identical to humans?

One lady said that their were bases and towers on the moon?

One guy said that a security officer was entrusted to burn ufo photos while a cia (or some very high ranking officer) made sure that he burned them. Why on earth would they even give a moments thought to having a security officer burn photos when they are more than capable of doing that themselves?

One reporter made mention of using a sattelite to attain photos for his paper or something and out of the 35 million photographs he had attained throughout the years, he had never once seen a ufo in any of them.

A lot of those individuals were very questionable and none of them offered empirical proof. Again, like every other individual out there, most of what they had to offer were just eye-witness accounts of what they had seen. At best, they were able to provide evidence of objects that had appeared on radar which they claimed were ufo's.

Jury is still out on this one I feel.

*On a sidenote. Kenneth Arnold is credited as being the first person to report a flying saucer. He reported it in 1947 and claimed it looked like this:

Everybody wants hard evidence.

The problem is that 99% of the people here are not in a position to demand it or even attain it themselves. We are not looking at a species of intelligence that is below us. They are, literally, above us in everyway.

Any hard evidence that does exist, has been witnessed by many of the disclosure project witnesses, but they also are not in a position attain it. This is why the disclosure project exists.

Have you seen this yet?

http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid=-5980990221766439646&q=the+greatest+story+ever+denied&total=860&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=1

(pay attention to the late Colonel Philip Corso)

IMO this is all elementary. If the day comes that ETs make themselves known to the masses, people will not be able to handle it. People are afraid of what they don't understand and as a result would probably break down and either attack the aliens, shoot themselves, or both? Or none depending on your spiritual level on this lifetime.

If you saw a strange looking ET tomorrow, how would you react, in all honesty? I always think this to myself.

apple, you gotta start researching. This is not true. There are ancient depictions of "saucers" and "ships" from thousands of years ago. Watch the video I posted. Theres many others.

About the second video.

They are correct but they take it too far.

Indeed suggestion can create imaginary experiences and if a bad therapist is telling people its alien abduction then these people have literally allowed their selves to be tricked.

Sleep paralysis is also a well know condition. I've experienced it several times myself but I've never assumed anything about aliens to be associated with waking dreams or sleep paralysis.

What I see here is too extremes. At one end theres people saying "aliens are real I've been abducted". At the other end theres people combining conditions and therapies in an attempt to explain the phenomena.

I would say that actually its most likely that both extremes are true. Imagine if only 1 out of the thousands of people that claim to be abducted is telling the truth! One of mankind's greatest questions; Are we alone in the universe? Has been answered.

I've no doubt that some people are also lieing. Some are duped by dodgy therapies. Some just experience sleep paralysis and make up wild explanations!

On the other side of the coin though there are people who have been abducted while not asleep, they have multiple corroborating witnesses and did not need therapy to remember etc Look up the Travis Walton incident, there really is no rational way to explain the events in that incident. The most rational answer is that he was taken.
