I had a B+ syringe which i have used to succesfully inocculate 6 jars, but when i took it out of the fridge again after a few months, there were strange looking clumps with reddish spots and some thin black floating particles. They looked nothing like the spore clusters i saw when the syringe was still 'fresh'.
If anybody has any pics please put em up here. Thanks.
i can't say much about the red stuff. but sometimes if you have a spore syringe sit around for a bit, the spores sink to the bottom and when you shake it up, they'll flake off. so chances are the black stuff is just spores.
if you dont' mind using up the time and resource, make a couple jars and inoculate with the syringe.
