how often to you mist/spray them? that cake looks like it might be dry. I would bet you have a moisture problem.

do you just mist lightly or mist directly? I mist my cakes directly very heavily at least three times a day. in fact it probably is more of a spray than a mist. mushrooms are ~90% water by weight and need lots of it to grow. availability of water can be a major limitation in size. i have definitely seen mine get smaller if i start to slack on the spraying schedule. i really haven't seen any problem with misting directly even though some people are dead set against it. not to mention tahoe's "jars don't float tek" saw success as well. i spray my casings directly too.

try giving them more water? if it's not that and it's not the FAE i really don't know what to tell you.

ya... that shroom aint even that big.. i've seen WAY bigger on this site.
and it's:
People Against Goodness And Normalcy
PAGAN.
lolz. great movie.. reason i got it was because the goat guy used to give me nightmares as a kid and i was still scared of goats so i bought the movie and watched to to confront/rationalize my fears.
good luck everyone with their grows.
and if you want bigger fruits, you're gonna need more water and more air.. usually that adds up to bigger shrooms
make sure you're dunking the cakes and spray the vermiculite on them ever so often..
tahoe was like 'directly spray' and i was like 'mist them' but directly spraying has worked out pretty well
also.. dunking after they start to pin.. that's how i made my big daddy..

Well that's not too bad, It happened to me with temps right down in the 50s.
Then I'd be fairly sure it's water delivery or bad luck with multispore. Shrooms are 90% water and shrooms that suffer growing without enough water tend to be small and have quite dense hard stems.
What PF Tek recipe did you use? Did you dunk? How often do you mist? What is the RH in your FC?
