man i just bought a couple giant size h202 bottles today thinking i would use them with this nice spray bottle i bought today as well...
but i did a search and read a post about not using h202 anyhmore that it does more damage as much as contams... it says it dissolves or liquidfies mycelium.. or something like that.. anyways just thought i would ask since i am awaiting my casing to cool down from microwaving each of the three containers for 5 minutes then waiting a few seconds i went ahead and did another 5 minutes .. hope it works..

Hydrogen peroxide is really only useful vs an outbreak of cobweb mold;). (Unless I am horribly mistaken and there is some other real use for it)

i've heard of doing like a 5% h2o2 solution for the water on the perlite. anyone think that is unnecessary?

i like to use a capful of H2O2 per full spray bottle of distilled H2O for my perlite. and when i finish up with my terrarium, ill give it a good bath in it, and then again b4 re using. just a personal preference. not necesity!
a friend of mine was takin care of my mushies while i was in the hospital, and he misted with the mix, and it didnt make a bit of differece. to this day he still tries to say he didnt. even after i told him it didnt hurt anything...pride is shameless....

i wonder if mushrooms contain the enzyme catalase (which degrades h2o2) so that low concentrations would have no effect?
time to googlin'
