How bad is it?

Well I was looking at my WBS jars which I inoculated 3 days ago and realized that there is a LOT more than 5% of the kernals that exploded(as it states should be done in Doc's WBS tek) Will this colonize and fruit or just be contam city? I plan on making a monotub and spawning with straw/poo

yeah what is the problem with exploded kernels anyway? why is it more prone to contam or whatever?

Do you realize that everyone you know someday will die?
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes,
Let them know you realize that life goes fast.
It's hard to make the good things last.
You realize the sun don't go down;
It's just an illusion caused by the world spinnin' round.

They get sticky when they explode. THAT is the main problem... also, by the time they pop they are fully saturated with water... so they won't absorb any more. This may lead to a very wet environment inside your jar... which can invite bacteria and other contaminants to thrive.

Still, a jar of exploded, sticky grains CAN work fine... it is just riskier... and much harder to shake.
