Its been two years since the woods have produced anything remotely good. I wasnt able to upload even half of the pictures due to my limit on uploads but ill upload the rest tomorrow.
 

 

 
Such a beautiful time. If i only had something comparable to zapotecorum id be making cactu jealous!

Sorry it took a while to get the rest up guys but here some more wildlife from southern california woodlands.
I have a special spot hidden in the mountains where one of the original Hippie Treehouses still exist. If youre not aware of the Hippie treehouses, their story is that back in the 1960's and 70's there was about a half dozen treehouses made in the forests which had hidden trail and entrances for smokers and hippies to spend their days. They were all on private property at one point or another but slowly they were removed. Sadly all but two have disappeared but this one remains intact and the other one is broken and public now. So... this is the last one in the last forest. Id risk my life for these woods.

Beautiful pics, as always. Those chanterelles are making me jones for the summer. Do you get a lot of em down there? Very cool Hygrocybe conica too!!!
