Q about Liquid Growth Medium Tek
    #806218 - 08/09/02 04:13 AM (21 years, 8 months ago)

To any one who has read The Walrus liquid growth medium tek. I have a question regarding his statement, "You can then inject this (the medium) into your substrate and it will start growing immediately." What does he mean? For example, if one is using a quart jar tek with brown rice is one to inject the medium into the quart jars and resume regular procedures or can one directly inject the medium onto coir and place it in fruiting chamber and proceed from there?

Slightly confused.

yes
"or can one directly inject the medium onto coir and place it in fruiting chamber and proceed from there?"
no

"You can then inject this (the medium) into your substrate and it will start growing immediately." What does he mean?
he means you dont have to wait the few days for spores to germinate, the mycelium is already growing so you have a head start
