Too good to be true?!

I have been doing some research into Acacias, having heard a bit about their DMT properties. Then i stumbled on this species; Acacia rigidula. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acacia_rigidula
Look at those chemicals! Apparently it makes animals less fertile and shit, but meh.. Worse things can happen. Not only does it have lots of super-awesome chemicals it has lots of anti-oxidant properties too.
I keep hearing its toxic, i found this pdf on erowid; http://www.erowid.org/archive/rhodium/pdf/acacia.rigidula.pdf it says it is toxic but what chemicals are toxic and in what way. Considering that scientists think that anything hallucinogenic or mind altering is 'toxic'.
So has anyone tried this, heard what its like, is it poisonous?

Very interesting, sounds good apart from the PMA. I had a fake red dove a few weeks ago that was apparently PMA and Tryptamine because the manufacturer was a cheap cunt. I didnt react badly to it so it should be alright in those small doses, 15.7 ppm.
Lets just say the cook came out worse off than the rest of us (according to the candy man).
Acacia rigidula FTW!

Yeah, I'll say this is interesting? I hope that's only trace amounts of nicotine, that'd be pleasant, rather that nauseating.

I'm with Shulgin on the amazement AND skepticism. Amphetamines, Tryptamines, Nicotine & Mescalin and just a few other actives and not much else. The designer-drugs pdf that's cited on the wiki page lists a couple others as well... This seems very "too good to be true." And according to Shulgin, the discoverers of this amazing species won't return his contact attempts... I would request more research before attempting any personal assays with this. And watch out for the tyramine if MAOIs are involved...
