Not sure where you can find that info, but I would look into really poor countries in South America or Asia. I know the cost of living in Laos and Thailand is extremely low. Laos being quite a bit cheaper than Thailand though. I'm not sure about how long you could actually stay there. I know they issue 2 week visas on arrival, but I'm sure you can pay to get a better one.

Cost of living is also an important factor. Many people live on $2 a day, but in countries where $2 would buy you a big meal.
