alcohol?

I'll be recieving my mycobags and syringe in the post pretty soon so I need to find out if there is a specific kind of alcohol to wipe things sterilized? I mean, could I just wipe the injection site with vodka or whisky??? I did some searching but all i came up with was 'vodka tek'. Any help?

I use 99% isopropyl rubbing alcohol.....works great!

I also use isopropyl alchohol and have had no contams so far.

This is what i do i get clean sterile glass ash tray that has never been used for smoking and isopropyl alchohol and some cotton balls then i dip the cotton ball in isopropyl alchohol then i put the cotton ball in the ash tray then i take the lighter and light the cotton ball then i put the syringe needle tip a little above the flame and wait to it turns red then i blow the flame out and wait couple seconds for the needle to cool then i inject the spores in the jars do this after every 2 jars.
