How so?
As long as it's not too intense and you can keep some physical and mental control so you stay safe, it sounds like a great trip idea. For me, it would be skiing instead of snowboarding, though.
An extremely enjoyable activity + being out in a beautiful slice of nature + a small does of mushrooms sounds like a great time to me.

I've been skiing since I was four. That's 25 years. I'm PSIA certified as a ski instructor, have raced, blah blah blah. Point is, I'm more comfortable skiing than walking . Personally, I would feel comfortable doing just about anything on skis. That being said, I had a fellow instructor (snowboarder) die last season by hitting his head on a tree. Wear a helmet and it's all good.
BTW, I don't wear a helmet . Cuts off the peripheral vision and hearing.

Not much snow around here, but I water ski all the time (slalom) and am on the team at my university. I would freaking LOVE to try tripping+water skiing one day. That would be insane. I wonder what would be going through my body as I sat in the water waiting for the boat to pull me up..

[rant] I would urge people to NOT trip when they're skiing/boarding. Some of you are saying that you're rather experienced skiers/boarders, but going out there messed up is nothing but a recipe for disaster, helmet or not. People like Engineer should know better! You represent the face of skiing as an instructor, and advocating things like getting high on the slopes is dangerous. I've seen enough drunk gapers hit people, crash into trees, through lift lines, etc. to strongly suggest you don't go out there tripping - you're putting other people (like ME) in danger, and thats not cool. If you DO go, at least stay out of the resort and go somewhere where you can only hurt yourself. No slackcountry, either, get away from the herds. Hope you're avy savvy...
Moral of the story? Save the shrooms for AFTER the hill. [/rant]

You really are right, and I don't mean to advocate tripping on the slope. If you are an expert (and I mean EXPERT), and are hell bent on doing this, then wear a helmet. And, stay off the heavily populated beginner slopes. I for one have never tripped while skiing, I find the skiing experience alone is amazing. But I've done it drunk and stoned, and it is fun. I can't recommend this to anyone, but I can say don't do it unless you are an expert, and stick to expert trails. I kinda regret posting...

sounds fun. but it's dangerous and irresponsible. i can understand the amazing feeling of snowboarding, and wanting to supplement that with mushrooms, but i think the two are enjoyable enough on their own. i hope The OP didn't take too large of a dose.

all i can say about it is on the right dose i can ski better then i can ski sober because Im so dialed but I've been riding for most my life, so i feel like it's kind of a hit or miss thing with the dose so be careful and don't even think about doing this unless you have some serious experience skiing/snowboarding and make sure you wear a helmet and don't go on a busy day

I was going to down 2 MDA pills (already taken before) during a ski trip. I find these to be substantially less of a dissociative, and I can focus quite well. However, dehydration and hyperthermia would be potential hazards. What do you guys think?
