Let us know at the 5000 mile mark - and be sure to switch to synthetic oil after that.

If we assume that we have an inherent wisdom, a natural ability to fundamentally "know". Which I believe may reside within something as tangible as our own DNA. Then if so, wouldn't that be at the centre of all our perception and human experiences and be the only truth we have that projects such validity on our subjectiveness?

Is personal experience valid basis for belief?

NO, NEVER!!!

As personal experience has a person to experience it, only when this very idea of "person" "me" is gotten rid of, only then do "you" see/experience reality for what it is, yet there is nothing, noone to experience it.

Then of course you can come back and say "I" experienced this, but it was not "you", there was no "you" when you exoperienced it, this is the only way to experience ultimate reality.

Get rid of this person, the world, the universe, see what is left, that is reality, whatever changes is not reality.

A person discriminates between things, only when you get rid of "things" do you experience reality for what it is, beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Reply to organic shroom.

I believe that the 'thing' which knows all is the 'heart'. The world we see is a picture image, DNA is part of this image, so it cannot be the allknowing. Like what cronic is saying, its the 'thing' behind the image, which is litterally NOTHING HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Yes the heart is where it is, the heart is where ultimate reality is always, we close it off due to the minds attachments.

Living with no attachment is living with your heart, the heart has no doubts, thats why it is said "follow your heart" throw away the mind, follow your heart. The mind will follow.

I used to think the chakras were a load of crap but when you love something for what it is or lose it through attachments to it, where does it feel good/hurt, right in your chest.

And the fact everyhting in the dualistic universe is essentially energy, how the theory of chakras that has survived thousand of years be considered mumbo jumbo, becase an instrument cant record it? lol

When I see an aura, or a chakra, then I will go oh, what an idiot ive been. But till that day I still think that Auras and Chakras are just metaphors, not actual energy, that could be recorded by an instrument, even the EYE, but felt threw the heart. Colors al around me? Maybe if on a Psychedelic or if DMT somehow leaked out of your peanel gland, then I see how you could see that shit but I think It would be for you to experience, Like the compination of your 'vibs' and the others 'vibs' produce a color around the other person or yourself based on your interpretation of these 'vibs'. Much like the shaman producing images with sound with the aid of ayuahasca. I feel Aruas and Shakras are tools for false prophets to get money.

I can say ive felt beyond doubt the minds eye, the heart, & the root "chakra" as energy centres of the body.

Next time you feel love, hate, fear, intelligence, FEEL where you feel it, not just the recognition of the mind processing sensation, feel where you feel the sensation....

I mean those are parts of my body, of course I get the bubble guts, but I read today somewhere that if we were used to the sky being yellow not blue, then a blue sky would be psychedelic, thats what psychedelics are for, to let us know there can be a yellow sky so latter a blue one becomes psychedelic. Well this is the way I see that energy stuff, our bodies are energy (everything is), so to add more energy just seems childish and wishfull. I think they are metaphors not actual energies in the picture image. Psychedelics are here to remind us that this world already is tripped out and special. To come up with more special is egotistical I think. IMO, no offense to you I just have a steril view of things thats all.

Its not adding more energy or more special lol its just realising this energy that is controlling our primal instincts and emotions. Its been there all along there no adding of anything its just realsing what is controlling you & your emotions.

Lower energy centres control our need for survival, (this is just obvious genitals etc...) the heart controls love energy, the mind controls intelligence/knowledge energy.

Its pretty simple if you just look at it.

our nuts control life/procreation
our heart guides us to love
our head thinks and knows

all these can be said to be enegry as they all exist.

Ive heard there is actually a small brain in our gut. The nervous system stems threw out the body, The brain and body are one funtioning unit, to feel your gonnad pulsating with hornyness is nothing special. To run around saying you can see aruas and chakras, is nice, but I just think that person is a lil outa touch and should get off the net and meditat, which sounds like a good thing for myself as well.

Yes and feelings are energy, they have great influence how could they not have theyre own vibrational frequency?

when an angry person walks in the room do you not feel it as a vibration?

Just be aware of every emotion where in your body you feel it, not where your mind perceives the sensaion, but where the body feels it...

Orgone you are so often touting objectivity and scientific observation.  Are you familiar with "Theory-ladenness"?

Here is a quick read that should give you at least a taste of what I'm talking about:

Theory Ladenness

Even scientific observations cannot be disconnected from a subjectivity or theory-ladenness.  I'm sorry, but human observations made with human created machines are never going to allow you to escape from yourself.  Sorry!

Note even close. Look up the definition.

If you believe and could detect an angry person from behind a curtain you would win $1,000,000.

Of course, you are just spouting more nonsense. People cue on body language and voice, not some mystical, nonexistent 'energy'.

Well the issue is bigger than any particular point in this thread. You often tout objectivity and scientific method with such vigor that is seems you might not be aware of some of the criticisms of science and objectivity-reaching.

The point: You are peddling Objectivity, I bring up theory-ladenness and ask "What say you to this?".
